2. Given all the films Clooney’s done after Three Kings, I’ve gotta assume Russell is particularly miserable. Dude’s done some crazy difficult movies.

3. Can’t say I’m too suprised. I remember him famously screaming at Lily Tomlin during “I Heart Huckabees.” Also made some unsavory comments about J Law where he said he “discovered” her… she’d already been nominated for “Winters Bone,” which was directed by Debra Granik in 2010. Also mentioned some crazy crap about “The Hunger Games.”

4. Considering Clooney almost beat the shit out of David for assaulting him and an extra on Three Kings, I’m not surprised.

5. The thing is: Three Kings might really be Clooney’s best acting work on film.

6. Not doubting Clooney’s assessment (there is plenty of collaboration), but man, I sure liked Three Kings.

7. He also allegedly punched Chris Nolan out. 

8. I liked *Silver Linings Playbook* and *American Hustle*. But they are both undeniably about terrible people, so I guess Russell stuck close to what he knows?
