  2. Donold needs to throw in the towel and replace JD Vance with Hannibal Lecter. They just gel together—they get each other!—and who else does Trump publicly praise over and over again? He also has a much more extensive résumé as a doctor, and cannibal.

  9. My conservative brother-in-law owns a construction company and he knowingly employs illegals yet he is *very* concerned about illegal immigration. It makes zero sense.

  19. A quote that stuck with me about immigrant workers in California: farmers *do* hire US workers, but they universally won’t stay on the job. One farmer said that he’s never seen a US worker return from lunch on the first day.

  20. The more headlines I see about JD Vance, the more I’m convinced that he was the perfect pick for Trump’s VP if the goal is to carry over the disfunction of the last Trump administration.

  22. As an Ohioian, these stories aren’t new to me. No idea how Vance won his race to become a senator. People simply do not listen to anybody discussing the candidates and vote for the R next to their name…

This is where I’ve decided to share dump about my insane parents…they have been with Trump since day one….Before that, they took me to tea party conferences….only as an adult did I learn that it’s not normal for politics to be like 1/3 of waking though. I assumed all families were as politically obsessed as mine.

    They have always worried about “illegals taking our jobs” but they have always employed them for things like house cleaning, yard work, painting projects, moving services…why? Well because they’re dirt cheap usually…I bet it’s an added plus that they’re less likely to sue if they get injured or something (not that they have). It’s so fucking weird because they actually do grow to care for their illegal workers and go out of the way to help them when they need it. It’s like they forget they are part of this population they’ve been demonizing this whole time.

    On top of that, my dad started a sports business in his retirement…he sells little odd and things like camping type gear and fishing stuff….it’s always cheap as shit and probably breaks immediately. There was a “jamsportz” mesh backpack that had loose threads on the rack…the thing is, he fucking purchase this shit from Temu, Alibaba, etc. literally buying shit from China.

    But…I’m supposed to be worried about China buying American soil, sneaking spy’s in through the southern border, and upset about all the solar panels they’ve installed?

    For the love of gob, make it make sense.
