  1. > “Quentin said some shit about me recently, so I’m a little irritated by him,” Clooney said. “He did some interview where he was naming movie stars, and he was talking about [Brad], and somebody else, and then this guy goes, ‘Well, what about George?’ He goes, he’s not a movie star. And then he literally said something like, ‘Name me a movie since the millennium.’ And I was like, ‘Since the millennium? That’s kind of my whole fucking career.’”

  2. It’s ironic cause Clooney would probably be spectacular in a Tarantino movie. I think his work with the Coens show that, he’s great at delivering zany dialogue and generally dealing with absurd, heightened moments.

Kind of reminds me of the beef between Tarantino and Denzel. Dunno if they ever reconciled.

  3. The torture-porn gun guy envies Clooney’s work in more than one genre.

At some point in his career, Tarantino should consider hiring a screenwriter and an editor.

  4. Imagine being irritated that someone didn’t call you a movie star. Class A entitlement right there.

  5. If Clooney isn’t a movie star I don’t know who really is at this point.

  6. Don’t they always tongue in cheek jab at each other? I feel like I’ve been reading about them taking shots in good fun many times over the years

  7. I wonder how Taratino defines “movie star” ? I wonder if he considers himself one even ?

  8. If you haven’t seen Michael Clayton, watch it — excellent.

Also, Up in the Air is very good.

  9. I like QT, his films and find him to be a interesting guy, but he does come off as a pretentious film snob. That kinda comes with the territory for enthusiasts of anything. You het people who are opinionated, sometimes in a very toxic matter.

  10. I work in film. I’ve met to Tarantino and gotten to talk to him for about half an hour. He’s no doubt an autistic genius but he’s also an egotistical piece of shit. He’s probably pissy Clooney’s career took off after Dusk Till Dawn while Tarantino’s acting career went no where.

  11. This is like the 3rd or 4th article I’ve seen today about Clooney telling someone to Fuck off.

  12. If I were George Clooney, I seriously doubt I would care. It’s Tarantino! Great director but awful person and everyone knows it.

  13. I’m not here for QT propping up Brad Pitt of all people over George Clooney.

The personal life stuff speaks for itself.

But also, what the hell is Pitt’s acting career? What are the highlights? He’s a supremely handsome dude with a certain amount of charisma and very limited talent. His Once Upon a Time win was the weirdest acting Oscar I’ve seen in a long time. That performance is a nothingburger. Just an honorary Oscar for sticking around a long time and being handsome, I guess.

  14. Probably a wife thing. Tarantino married an Israeli and has been kind of an IDF fanboy. Meanwhile Amal Clooney was involved in the ICC report supporting arrest warrants. Easy to believe they don’t see eye to eye.

  15. That ‘dis’ is so laughably wrong it makes Tarantino look like a pretty idiot.

Too bad, he made some fun movies
