1. He’s not wrong: There’s consequences to turning down some roles. And its made even worse by the fact that there’s even fewer distributers because of the mergers.

   Keanu Reeves for example: He turned down Speed 2 (1997) and he didn’t work with FOX for over 10 years. Now obviously it turned out well for him with The Matrix and all, but it’s still a risky move to turn down certain roles, because execs have long memories and huge egos.

3. Marvel for established stars gets them “fuck you” money even if the movie is awful it guarantees viewership.

   Once you have that kind of money you can do any project you want.
