Sorry, it is Tuesday and I thought Buffy was in trouble again.
My opinion is that they will hold the line, make russia bombard the f out of their people and then leave. Those people will be pissed and ruski mir will probably be something more clear in russian eyes,,thus decreasing stability.
And this move forces troop relocation drom the actual front where Ukraine needs a break.
