  1. Everyone knows by now that it was a “false flag” attack to blame the Russians, but no one has the balls to outright say it.

  7. Blowing up this pipeline was really disrespectful, but I can’t help but think everybody is better off this way and also it was really funny.

    It was a symbol of a manifestly failed political project.

  10. Ukraine is really getting a free pass despite attacking Europe’s energy infrastructure. Imagine if the attacker was actually Russia or China.

    Ukraine is facing a military agression and war is messy, but it isn’t a justification. You hire an intelligence chief to be cool-headed, not to make emotional decisions. When the intelligence chief made the decision to destroy an energy infrastructure, it wasn’t messy. It was a clear decision.

    If you give Ukraine an inch, they will take a mile. What’s next, blowing up Hungarian and Slovak gas infrastructure? Allowing Ukraine to assassinate Russian stooges like Sahra Wagenknecht or people like Tucker Carlson and other pro-Russian media personalities in the West? How about assassinating Donald Trump? Where is the redline?

  12. What I found interesting was that Denmark and Sweden lost interest in the investigation, the second they saw that Russia was not involved in this.

  13. The only problem is that one pipe is still ok, so I guess there will be a huge pressure to go back to ‘business as usual’ the moment it is not a total political suicide.

  20. I just want to point out that loads of Ukrainian nationals supported Russia, this does not a Ukrainian state plan make.

    Secondly, the only party to get anything from blowing up 3 of 4 pipes, and leaving the remaining Nordstream 2 pipe with 200% capacity of both Northstream 1 pipes combined unharmed is a clear indication that Russia wanted the possibility of resuming deliveries should EU drop sanctions.

  23. So is the reason this is not treated as a terrorist act just the fact that Russia isn’t responsible or is there any other legit reason? Because attacking a country’s (or international) energy infrastructure for political reasons seemed to be called just that very liberally in the past

  24. Look at how many Russian bots are in this comment section. The nordstream pipeline was a weapon against Europe. That’s it. It being blown up is an objectively good thing. Even Germany doesn’t seem to chase it up that much, only the Russians are upset about it.

  30. I still remember everyone vehemently saying it was Russia that blew the pipes no more than a year ago. Just proves once again how strong the effect of propaganda is, no matter which side does it.

    And STILL everyone calling this guy a hero even now. After he fucked up something as critical as energy infra for an European country. Yeah, no, fuuuuck yoooouuuu. I hope they catch him and send him to the Russian dogs to chew on.

As a german citizen since birth, if it really was these ukraininan madlads abd madlassies, I hope they are awarded the highest applicable form of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and also awarded german citizenship in gratitude for their service to Germany, Europe, and humanity as a whole.
