While shopping online on Rewe.de, I noticed that I check the nutritional data tab on products often to decide which one to choose based on protein/carbs/calories content. This required a couple of clicks each time.
I thought it’d be easier to surface this information, along with some helpful protein ratios (protein grams per €, protein to carbs ratio, and protein grams per 100 calories) to give a quick overview on products and help decide what to avoid/go for.
So I built an extension called NutriData to solve this, it currently only works on Rewe.de but should be easy to add other online shops too as long as they provide nutritional data.
Okay this is brilliant OP! Always love to see more transparency in online stores.
damn thats cool
You absolute legend. Thanks for this.
They should pay you for this
amazing work
Genius! I’m looking for an phone app that does that actually. Please do more for example for Edeka and Aldi (and turn it into a phone app please *cough*)!

The code is open source [here](https://github.com/mohamed3on/nutridata/) along with installation instructions. Let me know if this helps!
Love it!
