Police launched a manhunt in Barcelona on Thursday for fugitive Carles Puigdemont, a celebrated campaigner for Catalan independence who made a sensational return to Spain and an equally sensational getaway from a speech in the city with the alleged help of local police officers.   3. Manhunt like a dangerous terrorist? Shame on Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) bosses. The head of Mossos d'Esquadra should resign for wasting public money persecuting the 130th President of Catalonia, a brave and peaceful European politician.
