Train companies will happily give you a conviction of molestation for having your foot on a metal sheet while on their trains – but God forbid their private security and conductors tackle real issues. The tax payer gaurantees revenue for these companies – why do they fail at even the most basic of things?

The rise is from 2021 when the country was locked down for half the year. So how does it compare to a regular year from pre COVID times?
So are we going to be arrested for speculating about the possible link to the massive rise in immigration from outside the EU? You know, from places where they’re actually incredibly misogynist?
Or is it going to be “one third-rate academic at a university has some contorted interpretation of cherry-picked data; therefore any suggestion of a link to immigration is proven wrong with the same scientific certifitude of valence bond theory”.
How much has male suicide risen since the media war against men?
Not sure about other areas of the country, but I live in Newcastle and without fail 9/10 times I’ve seen harassment/assault against women on the Metro it’s been by British teenage lads between I’d say 13-17.
Of course, nothing gets done about it because it’s “just kids being kids” according to Northumbria Police.
Does anyone have the data on how violence against men has changed in the last 2 years?
That statistics don’t fucking matter. So called men need to be severely punished for attacks ie 10 years for assault 20 years for SA and full life or hanging for murderers. Stop pussy footing with these animals.
Worth pointing out that it’s less than 2000. Trust the guardian to go with percentages rather than actual figures.
Maybe we should look at other metrics that have risen dramatically in the last two years to see if there’s any correlation.
I wear a bodycam practically everywhere now. I get harassed as 1. a woman 2. Being disabled/wheelchair user 3. Gay/lesbian.
(I also have a personal alarm on me and UK legal self defence spray in my bag if I need it)
The UK isn’t a safe place anymore and whenever I report stuff to the police they haven’t got the staff to help me. It’s not even just people, but the sheer amount of dangerous dogs out there now, particularly off leads… I’ve already been attacked a couple of times.
