  1. I’m seriously devastated for him!!!

Had incredible preseason, on verge of breakout year, and then this 😢.

Sending him massive doses of (virtual) emotional support to help him fight thru this and come back stronger than ever, physically & mentally!!

  2. Gotdamnit. This was going to be his year.

Well, back to Bernie on the right wing. We gonna sign any backup forwards now or nah

  3. So gutted for him, hopefilly he can still play later on in the season. Was going to be his breakout season too

  4. Absolutely gutted for Bobb, hope he’s back mid season sometime. No need to panic buy anyone though, plenty of players can cover the right. Savio, Bernardo, Foden, even Doku can play there. I’d wager if we sign an attacker then we had planned to do so anyway.

  5. All around me are familiar faces, worn-out places, worn-out faces

  6. Thank Goodness, City signed Savio. Hope Bobb recovers, we need him on the pitch.

  7. Oh come the fuck on. Quite literally the guy that I was most hoping would stay injury-free going into the beginning of the season.

  8. Man, that sucks, i was so ready to see that motherfucker finally shine

  9. God damnit that fucking blows

Bobb in particular was the big thing getting me stoked for the season to start.

  10. Non-contact injury caused a fracture?

Edit: Ok another “report” said it was a collision which would make more sense than non-contact if it was a fracture

  11. How the fuck did he break his leg in training were they doinf hospital tackles 😭 hope he gets well soon

  12. he’s injured his ankle. he was seen in crutches and everyone’s spreading he’s broken his leg.

  13. Internet search says this could be anywhere from the whole season to a few months out, depending on the specifics. Anyone have a more qualified answer?

  14. I understand being hopeful, but no way this man plays any relevant minutes this year. No way he comes back mid-season from a broken bone in the leg and is mentally ready for the level of competition he’s going to be playing.

  15. Gotta be one of the saddest Man City injuries I can remember. Comical that Bobb and Grealish both get injured the week before the season after full pre seasons and the tour.

Bobb was gonna earn a full starting spot this year and it’s a god damn crime we won’t see him until Christmas

  16. If it makes you feel any better, Sam Lee has said he should be back before the end of the year

  17. This blows. Saw him in 2 of the preseason games and trainings. He never seemed to lose focus or let off the gas. Looked so confident and ready to step up. Hate this
