Ukraine builds fortifications in Kursk amid expectation of Russian counterattack
Ukraine is building new fortifications along the border of Russia between the Kursk and Sumy regions in preparation for a possible Moscow attack in response to the offensive in the Kursk region.
In its biggest cross-border assault of the war to date, Ukraine said it had taken control of 74 settlements in Russia’s Kursk region and was still advancing.
