Five people have been arrested and charged over the death of Matthew Perry, prosecutors said, including the actor’s personal assistant and two doctors. Martin Estrada, US attorney for the Central District of California, told a press conference doctors supplied the Friends actor, who died at his Los Angeles home in October 2023, with a large amount of ketamine and ‘took advantage of Mr Perry’s addiction issues to enrich themselves’

Greed is why he died and corrupted doctors!! Hope they pay for what they done and hope the family and friends get justice. Matt was struggling and needed help but found greedy people instead RIP Matt
I like everyone else loved Matthew Perry dude is a legend. But this just shows the richer and more famous you are, the harder the police and government work to get justice for you.

I'm not here to defend anyone's actions or crimes. I will say however that announcements like this are absolutely disgraceful and should not be allowed. Prosecutors & DAs make grandiose statements, assert allegations as fact, and disparage the defendants despite being proven (beyond a reasonable doubt) that the defendants are guilty. Can you imagine if you were charged and found to be innocent after an 'official' makes statements like this to the press. If found not guilty, defendants should be able to sue for slander and libel if DAs feel these dramatized press conferences are absolutely necessary in the pursuit of justice.
