*Edit: actually it’s not fair just to blame the Tories, this slow motion UK policy based energy pricing crisis has been coming for longer than 12 years. Selling off the country’s state owned world leading nuclear industry was their fault though… dicks. We should have had a proper continuation plan for nuclear as old plants aged out and a plan for waste by now.*

We need to build ships, lots of them and tow dear old blighty further south closer to the other third world countries like us.
I’ve driven past the pictured site a few times: they used soooo much power lighting it all up at night long.
So it was a carbuncle 24/7. As well as them being proven to pollute water supplies and cause earthquakes.
Fossil fuel project need to stop and all that money should be invested in green alternatives. We will still need to keep existing projects going while we switch over, however fossil fuels have very much had their day as the country’s (and the world’s) main source of energy. The likes of Cuadrilla will have made enough money to last the higher-ups a lifetime, they should quit while they are ahead and just retire in peace. We need to save the planet and these companies will only do the opposite in the name of profit, they have no business in deciding our future anymore.
