    Details: The Russian Defence Ministry claims that all the missiles were supposedly downed. However, the ministry, as usual, did not provide any evidence to support this statement.

  7. I would think that an underwater mine, towed by an unmanned submersible vehicle, would be more effective.

    It could be towed underwater to one of the pylons holding the bridge up… and then explode, taking the pylon out. (As well as the bridge segments around it.)

    Somehow I find it hard to believe they actually shot down 12 ATACMS and none of them hit their target. And a lot easier to believe they might have been shooting thin air out of pure paranoya

  18. Prolly not the bridge with ATACMS since it wouldn’t make sense to do that. More likely it was taking out logistics and air defenses in the area to prep for the real bridge strike.

  20. I’d wager Ukraine likely is targeting air defense systems or the ferries. The bridge at this point would only be an optics win. It is far too late to destroy that bridge and hope it causes massive logistical nightmares in the south. Russia has essentially since day one of control of the south been building infrastructure across the land bridge.

  28. Given the track record of the Kremlin, we only know a few things for sure… The target wasn’t the bridge, there wasn’t 12 missiles, and the weapons used weren’t ATACMS.

  29. Once again, the incredibly capable Russian air defenses have 100% intercept rate. The zombies feel pride; the rest of the world laughs at them.

  32. Why stop at 12, they could say they shot down 100. It’s just as likely.
