  1. Probably wherever he left his dignity and his ambition.

  2. DeSantis already stated publicly that he was going to make sure Trump was eligible to vote in Florida. Basically as soon as he was convicted. These people have no real ideals.

  3. He voted early as a felon while also declaring felons shouldn’t have the right to vote and nobody should be able to vote early.

  4. And it was an absentee vote, to boot! Why aren’t his supporters turning on him for betraying him yet? (/s)

  5. He voted early so that DeSantis can shut it down for the remainder of the election season.

  6. The outrage was always fake, just like his boot-lifted height.

  7. Trump can legally vote in Florida. Florida law is that whether or not a felon can vote is based on the state they were convicted. Trump was convicted in New York. In New York, felons can vote unless they are actively incarcerated. So Trump is legally allowed to vote. Don’t be like the right and spread misinformation.

  8. The man has his own plane, he is literally a flight risk! He shouldn’t be allowed to leave New York.

  9. There’s no outrage because the whole blocking felons from voting is purely designed to disenfranchise black voters, not some ideological stance. There’s a carve out to allow felons not serving jail time to still vote. It’s designed so the prosecutor and judges can selectively disenfranchise who they want and let others like Trump continue to vote.

  10. Side note: I’m really amazed that it’s August, several weeks after the Republican convention, and there’s still a presidential primary election taking place in Florida

  11. It’s completely legal for him to vote until he starts serving his sentence. (Stupid thing between New York and Florida state vs federal convictions)

  12. These liars, cheaters, and thieves have no moral character.

  13. So if you don’t *believe* that you are a felon, does that make you not a felon?? Asking for a friend.

  14. Well, he was convicted in New York, so they probably think that “doesn’t count.”

  15. Typical. “Rules for thee, but not for me.”

Anyone who thinks this guy wouldn’t fundamentally change everything they love about America has lost the plot.

    Weirdos.

  16. Somebody on DeSantis‘s side has convinced him to shut his fucking mouth in public. He’s still pulling his bullshit Florida Man act, but he’s not crowing about it in public. I know we are all on the spectrum of psychopathy, but ol’ Ron is is a little closer down the track. These people who lack a conscience are very dangerous.

  17. A felon cannot vote in other states but can be the president of America and take charge of our nuclear weapons.

  18. I am pretty sure felons in Florida have been charged for trying to vote.

    This makes no sense.

  19. Rarely do you get to see such a perfect illustration of Wilhoit’s Law in operation.
