The bridge over the Seym River near the village of Glushkovo in the Kursk region has been destroyed after being hit by MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) ammunition. As a result, approximately a battalion of Russian Armed Forces soldiers might be encircled in the area.

The river will be the best new defensive line for Ukraine.
—-> less soldiers needed for like 100km of the frontline.
I hope that battalion has enough food and water for zero days.
In an update, NR states that the Russians have already installed a pontoon bridge to the east, but that it’s within reach of the AFU artillery.
But there is a bridge over Zvannove as well and Russia has lots of bridge lying equipment.
But Samarka bridge is 20 minute away
The exchange fund will be OVERFLOWING
Reka Sym River a natural barrier as Ukraine has pushed almost due west instead of north or northwest. Clearing the entire border area up to the river and then heading north from Korenevo to cut the E38 highway. That’s what the tea leaves are saying! As a student of the eastern front in WW II you can’t underestimate the hatred the Russians have for this campaign.
They still have one more bridge to use, a little NW of Glushkovo. But yeah, after that, they’ll have to go swimming to prevent from being encircled.
