The Kochs and fake economists (technically real, but with ideas bred up to hurt rather than help) is what started the whole trend of neoliberalism and informed a lot of Reagan’s various policies. I’m not surprised it happened here.
It’s almost like the lesson we constantly are learning is we need to curb wealth and political spending so people, industries, corporations, whatever can’t have influence (or only very minor influence) over people as much as currently possible.
