    “So [her team] has either completed everything, which I don’t believe, or they’ve just closed all the cases. They might well have been doing stuff in the immediate aftermath of the election. But you’d have expected them to hand it over by now,” the Norfolk MP added.

    Speaking on PoliticsHome‘s podcast this week, Jermy added: “I’ve not had any [handover]. I’ve had two press releases issued by the Liz Truss team having a go at me since the election.”

  3. Let’s face it, her brain has broken, and she’s gone completely nuts.

    She’s Golluming all the casework and still trying to act like she’s important and has a job.

  4. In all honesty there probably isn’t any casework. She was known to be an awol mp, so the chances are she has nothing to hand over!

  5. She keeps telling people that “everyone” wants her back as PM as soon as possible, including the majority of the remnants of the Tories.

    She’s serious. She thinks there will be a snap election ‘soon’ and she’ll be elected by a gigantic landslide.

    She needs to maybe be checked for dementia (seriously).

  7. Holding onto the casework now that she isn’t an mp and able to deal with it is probably a breach of GDPR and should be referred to the information commissioner.

    This feels like a Trump move, refuse to admit you lost, dont have stuff over, he literally formed his own cabinet in Florida too IIRC and went through the motions of being president still….. feels like that.

  11. This woman needs new friends. Whomever instilled in her the arrogance to keep talking, long after the nation made it excruciatingly clear that if we never saw her again it would be too soon? They need fragging. What will it take for her to get the message and fuck off?

  12. It’s really weird, my old Tory MP lost in the election. The following week he refurbished his office in town and everyday he has the same young bloke standing in there doing nothing all day. He just stands around holding a stack of paper.

    I’m wondering if they’ve realized the country are so easily led that pretending they’re the local MP will be enough to take credit for any improvements in time for the next election.

  19. I know it’s heartless, but I just have no sympathy for her.

    All this unwillingness to face up to her own shortcomings, whether from a place of sound mind (the only way this is possible is an amount of cynicism I didn’t think possible) or a genuine place of mental illness, she didn’t walk into Downing St, she competed for years to get there. She was a smaller.joke in the run up to that job and had every opportunity to step away.

    Given that the consequences for her actions in office have ONLY been public humiliation for the pain she caused and still is causing so many people. It’s kind of hard to hear the violins.
