Can somebody help me and answer a couple of questions (mainly about parking in Riga)? 🙂

  1. What app can I use to pay for parking on Riga streets?

  2. What would be the cheapest option to leave my car in Riga during the day/overnight? (Around 24h)

I was planning to use the parking lots shown in EuroPark app but I do not understand the tariffs. For example (screenshot attached) in this parking lot I see an hourly payment of 1.5€, but then daily/nightly periods have different prices? Are these period prices also hourly or what??

  1. 1) Mobilly for parking on street;
    2) Street parking would be cheapest. I think you should find plenty of places where tou can park on the street without paying in Brasa area;
    3) 4,5€ + 3€ =  7,5€ for leaving car 24h. If you leave the car for 2 hours at 10:00-12:00 you will be charged 3€. If you leave for a longer period, might as well leave untill 18:00 because when price reaches 4.50€ it will be the same. Then, after 18:00 counter starts again – first by hour, then by time frame. And it goes like that automatically until you click stop paying for parking.
