1. The current Ukranian operation will aid in Ukraine accomplishing Air Superiority over all of Ukraine. Guide bombs and Air fired missiles have been a major problem for Ukraine. Reducing ability to deploy and utilize their diminishing airpower will be a game changer.

6. UPD: it seems the russian evacuees from Kursk oblast are to be relocated, just around Ukraine, in the ruins of Mariupol. It may seem absurd, from a war zone to another one, but these displaced people won't be able to spread the bad news into central rasha. And the Kremlin is all about PR.

35. I really don’t think there is any specific reason for this “invasion” other than to make Putin and the Russian military look foolish. But Ukraine certainly achieved the objective. I wonder if this will do anything to jump start peace talks.
