  1. For reference, it’s believed that Russia started the war with around 140-160 of these in total.

They’d lost around 80 up to Ukraine’s attack, so even being generous they just lost another 2.5% of their Ka-52 fleet in the last week alone.

  2. I really would like to know how many Ka 52 are still being used by Russia right now, with all those loss.

Oryx count 60 destroyed, which is already a lot, based on the 133 they had before the war, but that doesn’t count all unacounted loss, and chopper unable to fly due to scarce maintenance.

  3. See you later alligator.

Because someone has to say it.

    Слава Україні!

  4. Another one? Or is it the same one that got downed by MANPADS?

  5. This is the most important and most capable Russian asset. Hopefully more will be destroyed.

  6. Gotta be scraping the bottom of the barrel for operational Ka-52s at this point.

  7. At what point do we get to the Napoleon equivalent of “We can’t spawn horses, sir” regarding skilled crews and advanced aircraft/armored.

  8. I think we need more than two troopers to confirm this.

  9. I wonder if their air-force backed off close support operations due to losses

  10. That part of tje article about drones attacking helicopters is also very interesting. It shows the versatility of drones in combat.

  11. Liberating land with exploding drones
I blew up an alligator on my own

  12. Russian warfare is mostly them dying until the fighting stops. Sometimes in their favor and often not, but they be dying in large quantities.
