  1. Well, it only took them 10 days. Not even a nation that’s been at peace for decades would take this long to respond. But being that Russia is allegedly the #2 military power in the world, and since their war-making apparatus has been going full-on for several years, they, more than any other country, should have have been able to muster an appropriate response within hours.

    Actually, the British Ministry of Defenses statement is not a flattering assessment. “After initial disarray and disorganization, Russian forces have deployed in greater force to the region…” What I take from that is that Russia has thrown hundreds of troops into the fray, but there’s still disarray and disorganization.

  2. Russia’s railways are clogged, so they had to drive. That’s why it took so long. Anyone know where these troops came from?
