  2. Excellent. They didn’t teach us much about managing emotions in my family or community when I was a kid, so now there are lots of adults playing catch-up. We can all do better.

    That 1960s-era clip of Fred Rogers telling Congress how children should be taught that feelings are mentionable and manageable is so awesome. Too bad it took a couple of generations or so for his message to take hold. Elmo has picked up the torch now, so let’s run with it.
