I’m disappointed for France. We are usually in the best one the world championship every year but on this JO we are not doing well at all
I haven’t been watching Olympics for a while, but what happened to the USA? Weren’t they regularly among the top three in the past, along with Norway and Russia?
I’ll be lynched for this, but the medal table is stupid af. Like insanely, pathalogically dumb.
First of all there’s no compensation for the size or population of a country. Then there’s the matter of some countries sending a shitload of people. None of this is accounted for at all in any way. And only gold medals count. You could win 999 silvers and you’d finish behind a country with a single gold one.
It’s dumb. Don’t pay attention to medal tables. They’re completely meaningless.
