1. Seems like Russia’s dropping treaties like they’re hot potatoes. If only respecting human rights were as easy as hitting ‘unsubscribe.

2. They kinda did that already years ago when they started sending non-ethnic russians from rural areas to the meatgrinder.

    Did their participation entail any obligation (that could be monitored by an independent agency) ?

    Otherwise, isn’t it just going to raise the distrust of national minorities towards Moscow ?

    He probably wants to illegalize the Ukrainian language, Ukraine-region dialects of Russian, and the Ukrainian culture in general.
