  1. What happened to DW? Not the same channel anymore. Either way, Ukraine will win! They always were. 100% Don’t pay attention to the Russian BOTs.

  2. Is DW less than 25% native Germans? A dash of ethnic diversity can be admirable & beneficial, but FFS some perversions seem nefarious, esp when ideological diversity is squandered or allegiance to Western Civilization seems questionable. I appreciate the openness to viewer commentary/questions, but outlets like DW don’t have much credibility regarding their history of biased censorship & sloppy covert manipulation…

  3. The Russian soldiers were not hiding but waiting for the Ukrainians to advance further into their territories as they are setting the Ukrainians up for a trap that they can’t escape.! The Ukrainians would be spreading too thin when they advance further into those territories.! Putin would be setting up counter offensives where they would cut off the Ukrainians at close to the border with the ‘ pincher ‘ effects with several massive strikes from the Russian armies . The Ukrainians were all speeding into a one way trap with all the escape routes being cut off when the Russian counter offensives or onslaught starts.! With all the euphoria of successes from advancing into Russian territories by the Ukrainian army without any strategic objectives, they are walking right into self made traps which they can’t escape when Putin strikes back from behind.! Besides, Putin has nuclear options to finish off Ukraine if he wants to.!

  4. I thought Ukraine were low on soldiers and then they raid into Russia, like operation Barbarossa 2.0. WTF???

  5. Russia consist of10 million sq2 kilometers. this land taken was on 1,000 sq2 so it's nothing to get excited over lol. Put thing in perspective shall we.

  6. basically, all the opinions from most of the commentators and experts are educated guesses or statements of the completely obvious. Good to see your channel is treating this a bit more seriously. Wondering why there isn't more coverage of the effect on the entire Russian population (physically and psychologically), not just those displaced in the Kursk region.

  7. Died anyone find it curious Ukraine has driven so rapidly and deep into Kurdk? And isn't it remarkable how efficiently the Russians evacuated the villages. It's almost like they planned for it

  8. 😂😂😂😂 DW seriously don’t have any other videos except showing one sided news and I can understand there bosses told them to do that … poor reporters…. But DW forget there are so many new channels is this world who can able to provide right and clear information of the battlefield and in current era everyone has a access to get correct information

  9. What's there to negotiate? As they said, a sliver of Russian land for the 20% of eastern Ukrainian territory which, if you haven't noticed, is now Russia? Why would Putin trade a Russian land for a Russian land? Seriously, this whole senseless adventure will in short time cost Zelensky dearly and the West will yet again have to find an excuse for their inglorious ineptness…

  10. The lady from Kings College was pragmatic, intelligent and professional, a pleasure to listen to. The DW dude reporting from Sumi sounded a bit incoherent and definitely uninformed. All in all, a typical DW reporting with transparent spin and short on objectivity…

  11. I don't believe the two hosts are the right hosts for this type of discussion. I feel they are more fit for entertainment or tech news than on a topic involving war. It reminds me of those smiling American politicians when Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in USA the first time… like they just saw a celebrity instead of a friend in need of help.

  12. COME ON…CAN U BOTH SIT DOWN AROUND TABLE AND SAY TO EACHOTHER SORRY I WAS WRONG .LETS TALK PEACE.
STOP IDENTIFYING WITH THINGS OF THIS WORLD. U CAME WITH NOTHING U GO WITH NOTHING.
THE PAST IS GONE THE FUTURE DO NOT EXIST .THE NOW IS WHAT WE ARE IN REALITY. THE NO FORMS IS LARGER THAN THE PHYSICAL ALWAYS. SAY SORRY TO THE EACHOTHER.

  13. If the supporters of Ukraine would lift the unnecessary restrictions on the use of their weapons this war wouldn't have dragged to this point.

  14. Russia will now need to commit resources to retake this new territory. And because it is Russian territory that has now been taken instead of Ukrainian territory it puts pressure on Putin. In the eyes of the public he has failed to protect his own state. As well, Putin provoked this attack. So the attack is both his fault and his failure.

  15. There a few thing this incursion causes.
    1. Putting to pull forces from ukrain and stop there initiative in the east of Ukraine.
    2. Give ukraine land to trade in any peace talks.
    3. Most Russians think the war is going great in Ukraine with Russian news and no youtube access.
    4. A buffer zone for the Ukraine boarders.
    5. Ability to strike airfields and military infrastructure close to the Ukraine boarder.

There is good intentions with the incursion but 25k soldiers is not alot and the extended supply routes time will tell if they get it right, I suspect they will as they have been underestimated so far.
