What team is going to sell their star striker less than 2 weeks before the end of the window? Besides osimhen
Also, is spending 90m+ on a striker because ours is out for 3 months really the best play? I’m still convinced we should only sign a big priced striker if we sell rkm.
Also, I hate to go against the hype but I am not fully convinced that gyokeres is the answer to our situation. He is not a young and moldable player and he’s only had 1 good season in Portugal. If we didn’t have rkm or ramos I’d say go for it and id be excited. But we have 150m worth of strikers with equal “risk” already. Are we really wanting to risk a potential of 230m+ on strikers for them to be “meh”?
The question I guess is will ramos come back from surgery with the same form. If so, then I say just wait and use rkm or get someone on loan. If no, then we are indeed forced to spend big.
Just a lot of uncertainty with our situation and the options available.
