  1. Guessing Airbnb won’t be recommending Pokrovsk for their Top 10 Vacation Spots this year.

  2. Leaving home is heartbreaking but safety comes first Hoping for peace soon…

  3. It’s a tough situation, but the resilience of the Ukrainian people is truly inspiring.

  4. Of the cities in Donetsk Oblast that have not been occupied by Russian forces yet, Pokrovsk is the fourth largest after Kramatorsk, Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka. Its population is around 60,000 people. Russian troops are about 10 miles away.

  5. Russia is in a real bind. It takes troops and supplies to advance. They also have to secure where they already are to advance. Do they move forward into an area, or do they send troops to stop the incursion into Russia? Russia does not have enough for both and some hard decisions are going to have to be made very soon.

  6. It’s a shame to admit this but this is a far bigger gain than anything happening in Kursk.

The only one to blame is the West for withholding aerial support for so long. The West is so pathetic, it’s unreal.
