Tourist in Venice Oct 1 and 2 of this year – any football matches?

This is not a serie a specific question (I saw from the Venezia schedule they aren't playing either of those days). Hopefully I am not too out of bounds asking this here.

I am ignorant about football but would love to experience a match live. I will be in Venice for two days only, and my best guess on trying to figure out how I might catch a game was looking at a map, plus this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_football_clubs_in_Italy and seeing if there's a city near Venice which might have a match.

Is there a smarter approach? Or, do you know if this sounds like the right way to tackle this?
