Nobody said we are ever. Like what’s the point of it? Obviously the risk factor has gone up 10 fold from FG Goverments not learning of the problems on the continent and creating a whole industry off the back of the plight of Asylum Seekers.
And what is he doing to try and combat it. How about invest in the military and guards.
How many people in the country are there who arrived without a passport? There is no way to know who these people are or what their intentions are. Clearly, there is a terror threat

You’d think Ireland would be a very easy terrorism target given how inept our police force is.
Well yeah, a priest who is a member of the defence forces was stabbed this week, nobody thinks we’re fine and dandy here.
Though we did worry less about islamist terrorism than some of our neighbours, what changed Simon?

The county is full of middle eastern fighting aged men who hate the west, of course there’s a threat ! Duh
Seems like, if someone was a terrorist angry about the Middle East or whatever – they only get one life to make their little statement and I’d think they prefer to go across to the UK, France or even the US if they can get a few quid at least to have someone who was directly responsible for the wars in the Middle East. Sounds better on their martyrdom tape rather than whatever they’d have to say about us, we’re not very enticing as a target.
