  1. I had to take a second look cause I thought it said KARMA bridge

  2. >LONDON — The Ukrainian military destroyed a bridge inside Russia that had been critically important for carrying Russian supplies, marking the second such bridge destroyed within days, the Ukrainian Air Force said Sunday.

    >The bridge had crossed the river Seym in the Kursk region, the area in western Russia where Ukrainian forces have been [carrying out](https://abcnews.go.com/International/ukrainian-troops-captured-28-settlements-amid-kursk-incursion/story?id=112779352) a large-scale ground incursion. Ukraine said last week it controlled some 80 settlements in Russia. Hundreds of thousands of Russians have been ordered to evacuate the area, according to Russian outlets.

    >The strike on the bridge was expected to deprive Russia of “logistical capabilities,” Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk said in a post shared Sunday on the messaging app Telegram by the Ukrainian Air Force.

    >”Minus one more bridge!” the commander said in Ukrainian, which was translated by ABC News.

    >Oleschuk’s post was accompanied by a video that appeared to show plumes of smoke rising from the bridge, followed by a closer shot of the bridge’s tarmac with a hole in it.

    >Oleschuk and the Air Force had posted on Friday a similar video, which appeared to show the destruction of another bridge on the same river. That video appeared to show greater destruction, with a length of the bridge completely destroyed.

    >”Ukrainian pilots use high-precision strikes against enemy strongholds, accumulations of equipment, as well as enemy logistics centers and supply routes,” Oleschuk said.

  3. Notice how Ukraine is hitting bridges, oil refineries and military targets and not hospitals, schools or apartments? It’s almost like they don’t want to indiscriminately target civilians.

  4. Absolute legend, watch them march right on into Moscow

  5. Is this a 2nd bridge ? I heard one got hit just a day or two ago. Awesome either way.

Hopefully it will get enough pressure on the people around Putin / the citizens to do something themselves about him.

  6. Still wondering if this is being done ahead of a major coming offensive against Russian positions within Ukraine or is this to something to tie up the Russians for the next couple of months, giving Ukrainian forces a breather going into the winter.

I’m hoping this is for an offensive aimed at expelling the Russians once and for all. Put them on the run and drive them back across the border.

  7. Correct me if I am wrong. That is the bridge at Rylsk that has been blown up, right? Then they are still missing 2 bridges, one for cars and one for trains near Lgov – and all bridges west of Kursk on the south side of the Seym river will be gone.

  8. Tear the guts out of the Russian rear echelons. The Russians were already having problems supplying their Front, this could be the coup de grace. Take out railway infrastructure, bridges, roads, intermodal staging areas and logistics hubs, refineries, pipelines, communications, air bases, etc.

No need to dig in and hold ground indefinitely, just long enough to cut off and strangle the front.

  9. It seems the Western war machine might finally be warming up after a lot of faltering and flat-lining. Marvellous how some consistent support changes the momentum.

  10. This is a headline that I question. Currently Ukraine is on the offensive in the region with the Russians pulling back. Seems to me it’s more likely the Russians blew the bridges to slow down the Ukrainians.

It shows a bit of desperation if the Russians are blowing up their own infrastructure.
