Excited to see it!
Hell ya that’s awesome! It definitely was not a perfect movie but I really enjoyed it and had a blast watching it. Hopefully a good box office haul means we get more Alien movies and more movies from Fede Alvarez.
It felt like a greatest hits album, but still had enough grit to stand on its own. I’d happily see it again without waiting for it to be streaming somewhere, which I haven’t been able to say about Prometheus or Covenant.
Amazing movie and I want Fede to do a Dead Space movie.
Overall I found it entertaining. Fits between 1 & 2 well enough with logical references to the other films.
Couple of plot points seemed pretty nonsensical but to be fair it was pretty light on plot in general opting to be more of a rollercoaster ride.
Good summer popcorn film, just keep your expectations reasonable and you’ll enjoy it.
I’m glad Fede took some inspiration from Alien: Isolation as well, that game is peak horror. If one day The Thing gets a sequel or whatever, I’ll trust him.
Good, more Alien please 🙂 I hope the next one they give it to another director. This guy can’t make his own movie when it comes to remakes. Calling back to old movies way too much. Although this one was better than Resurrection and Covenant, but def not better than Alien 3 directors cut.
I loved the first half, but the second kinda seemed to fall apart.
Great movie. Great as a stand alone and great as a part of canon. Clearly Fede has a lot of respect for the franchise and does it justice.
It started perfected but I think Brie went too far at the end. It was mostly a good watch though.
We are dangerously close to sequel money
I can’t seem to find a way to report this post for triggering my xenophobia?
Well time to kill with fire!!!
Also it scared me ?shitless? when I opened disney+ the other day to be greeted with one of their faces on the home page.
Some people fear spider, I fear face huggers, I need a “no aliens” button on my disney account now.
I loved it up until the final act (I think it failed to nail the landing), but easily the third best Alien movie
Saw it last week on XD, absolutely incredible
Great movie. The tail end had me on the edge of my seat.
Going again, next weekend!
Great atmosphere
