I cannot express how wonderful your country is. As a Brit travelling here it’s easy to compare. So let me :
1) your country is so damn clean. Not just the natural beauty ( more on this later ) but the roads, the cities. Damn it’s clean and tidy
2) your country is so damn polite. Everyone is so kind , helpful, smiley and it’s amazing.
3) your roads. Ohhhh mama the roads are sweet. Never have I driven anywhere that excites me from Fjords to bridges to tunnels to wonderful roads with barely a pothole in sight.
4) your food rocks.
5) your music rocks (fan of Ihsahn here )
6) your natural beauty. Beyond compare but most impressive is how you truly respect it without imposing. It’s almost like you have just enough tourism to allow a balance between taking it in and exploiting it. I may be talking outta my ass but as a Brit I find it so sad that all our natural beauty spots have to remind us to preserve them. Here, it’s a given.
7) EV charging bays everywhere. Respect to you. I have driven from Oslo to Bergen and had no range anxiety at all. Chargers everywhere. And when I do charge, it’s not in some shithole service station like we have in the UK, no , it’s in front of a fucking Fjord , or near a shopping area I can go kill the time. Or in a Bear park , or near a massive god damn bridge that connects two mountains.
I love Norway 🇳🇴
