It’s not mentioned in the article but i imagine she was also referring to going up against someone like Christopher Nolan and another huge success with Oppenheimer during the same year and weekend.
While the award season may have not shown Greta the credit she deserves, the box office did and the studio with such a huge production.
She’s doing Narnia next.
I think it’s still an industry, like most, that are not supporting enough women. Often it is nepotism or connections to the industry. Is that right or wrong? Not sure.
