It’s pretty insane how much parks there are now vs 20 years ago. At the same time a small complaint: at least around where I live, there’s a bit of a lack of variation. Obviously all parks aren’t exactly the same but I can go to like 5 parks in a 20km radius which are all built by the same 2 (or so) companies and feel alike. It’s understandable, but still, could use some more weird stuff like in OP’s picture.
Build 2 skateparks in brussel last 3 years
One in front of thurn & taxis , havenlaan (big)
One in george henri parc (small)
Its true most parks are build by the same company, that have their typical designs. There just arent many companies who can build them as demand is low. Would be hard to make a living.
Makes me wonder which ones are the worst. I know I’d nominate the Sin-Katelijne-Waver skatepark. It seems built out of a “Fine, we’ll build one, now stop complaining” sentiment.
