    when she was the Cali AG, she hide evidence that would free people who got locked up wrongly
    also, she extended prisoners' prison sentences so they could be forced to go fight wildfire for $1

Isn't it better for a news channel to have an independent analyst on not a biased party insider who then claims the opposing party is scared – that's not analysis that's what the woman would be expected to say whether it's true or not. Kamala Harris has always been more unpopular than Biden (The "Border czar" who presided over the worst border ever and the woman who allegedly left innocent people in prison to make more money while AG in California) but I suppose the Dems know Biden will lose so know they can only try someone else. – and get a VP candidate who might win a battleground state.

  10. Democrates stuck with a candidate who would probably have failed to win the nomination again just like in 2020 if there was a proper process. Allowed by Biden sticking with his declaration back then that he would only serve for one term. See current 39% approval figure.

  11. Perhaps worth considering, are European outlets reporting on traditional American perspectives, Republican or Democrat, that honestly, no longer exist? Everyone in the US knows exactly why Kamala Harris joined the Biden ticket. (She walked away from the one key task assigned by her boss, only finding her center and doing an admirable campaigning job on reproductive rights.) However, a more crucial question for France and Western Europe could be what are they willing to sacrifice to face an existential Russian threat without the US? For context – Baby boomers had parents and grandparents who fought in WWII, so there remains a close connection. Today, the US is more multi-cultural than years ago, so the socio-cultural ties are less immediate; and honestly, the defenders of democracy are tired. Even when it comes to GWOT, ask someone under 35 "Where were you on 9/11?" (aka the Kennedy question) and the answer is likely to be "on my elementary school playground."

  20. This is just bizarre. Trump isn't scared. On the contrary. I'm sure that they were breaking out the good champagne at Mar Lago last night and toasting his successful re-election. It's now guaranteed. I suspect that Trump is now moving on from campaigning to preparing to take office. He's basically now the de facto president of the US. A day for Americans to celebrate a well won victory over the bad guys.

Harris is the most idiotic and incompetent VP ever. Just watch her and take a good laugh. Hanley and his opinions can take a hike.
