Why does everyone omit the fact that the proposed law would also ban testing on humans.
Vote yes -> exterminate people suffering from diabetes -> be the first country to eradicate diabetes -> good ratings -> Switzerland best country in the world
Cant the vegans just eat their fake nuggets in peace
I really hope that’s not going to happen.
No idea what kind of idiot came up with this “great” idea.
So they can still be the second country to ban it if people say no?
I really don’t get it. Not like I’m a fan of such experiments, but I would aim my shots at the meat industry waaaay before even thinking about looking in this direction
So what will half the Phd in this country do if they cant gas mice anymore?
I don’t get why some votes get much international attention and some none. Why exactly is this vote newsworthy even though it will get dismissed anyway. I’d understand if it was close or if we accepted it and then it gets international afterwards.
The complete opposite was the nursing initiative, which was a suprising win (because it is a left initiative) and it didn’t really get international attention.
This is 100% retarded and 100% anti science. If you do not like animal testing, then you are free to refuse the entirety of modern medicine. No reason why The rest of the normodotated world should suffer for your idiocy. Luckily it won’t pass.
While I would call myself Vegan, I have the least problem with animals being used for testing medicine.
As long as animal agriculture exists, I don’t think this is something to even worry about.
Cosmetics is something else in my opinion.
Switzerland have a big farmatucal industry that will be destroyed if this proposition is accepted
Any advence in medicine ll disappear
IDK what they where thinking probably that it can pass because no one take it seriously so maybe less people ll vote but the people who thinks it s a good proposition
It seems very backwards that a country who are so reliant on their pharmaceutical position would plausibly vote their way out of a large percentage of new medicinal advances.

I hope that one doesn’t come through.
