Overall very impressed with him ngl. Had some not so great moments but it’s his first game in the prem and he’s just met most of the squad 2 weeks ago, I think he can have a very good first season here
Impressed with his debut, wish he could’ve played the full 90 but luckily it seems like a precautionary sub
He looks quite a bit like Mahrez tbh.
Think the Mahrez comparisons are a little lazy tbh. Mahrez strengths were excellent positioning and the ability to open up a shot or cross easily for himself on the wing as quick as possible. Savinho seems a bit more of a driving force when he’s on the ball to me

At first glance you’d think Mahrez was still playing because… the number 26 is back on the right wing.
side note, but how the fuck does caicedo keep getting away with some of the fouls he commits? Every time theres a loose ball, he throws his body into challenges and doesnt come close to getting the ball (ie end of this clip with de bruyne). He should’ve had at least 2 yellows yesterday, dirty prick

Man, what a highlight package from his first premier league game! Nearly had 2 assists, I didn’t realise how well he played. I actually love this guy so much, I was showing a mate a girona game last season, and we decided to check where he came from, and the first article popped up of him coming to city. What a dream start. Hopefully, it is just a knock, and he’s back this weekend
