  1. Maybe wait until general mud and winter is done, and if all is still good after that then we know it is a success, at the moment I would still be a bit more reserved on whether this works out or not.

  2. I always like hearing Marina's take on military matters. She is very knowledgeable and explains things without talking in circles and taking up unnecessary time. With regard to Ukraine I think they are very strategic in cutting off logistic supplies of Russia. Also it is wise to fight where your enemy is weak.

  3. Let's not forget about the way the Russians perceive the current events and the level of Putin's control over what is happening: some start to see weakness, others recognize lies in what is presented by the main TV channels. That's huge and could be one of the main objectives of the operation in the Kursk region.

  4. In East Germany, the same people that voted for Die Linke (=Communists) now votes for AfD (=Fascists), exactly THE SAME PEOPLE… why? because both support Putin's Russia

  5. It’s a P.R. exercise to try taking the focus of the losses the Ukrainians are suffering in Donbas area! It’s typical of Western/NATO “refocusing”. e.g. how’s it going off the coast of Yemen?? All gone quiet in the Press!

  6. As long as Ukraine continues to take territory in Kursk/Belgorod Russia will eventually have to stop trying to plug the hole with second stringers and pull real troops out of places like Donbas

They aren't going to be able to retake Kursk by sending in more 18-19 year old conscripts with little to no training. They are just going to surrender like the ones before them without even attempting to fight

At some point even the Russian population will come to realize that the MoD isn't taking the Kursk incursion seriously and are only caring about continuing the meat wave assaults in Ukraine

  7. You should talk about the impact on Russia's agriculture to the loss of products from Kursk. There is also growing evidence Russia is now bankrupt.

  8. Politically Puttin won. Now he can state he didn't invoke the DPRK alliance, and he just wants peace with NATO. Hints forth on the recent peace talks. And just has this one problem with this one country. Regardless if that's what is seen on other sides. And to add to it your talking 80 small towns where country people live and may never see home. Yes this is happening in Ukraine too. But if this is a war against Puttin then, making a permanent issue with the locals who, could just be victims of the circumstance like the residents of Ukraine. This is turning from defense to ww3, why? Why are all the little people getting screwed here?

  9. I agree with the analysis. There is one point I disagree with however. The troops sent to Kursk are the finest Ukraine has. They would not make muxh difference in eastern front, where Russia has chosen a style of warfare that nulllify Ukraine advantage in quality. Using these troops in a mobile war is a good investment. It won't change the final outcome however, as long as Russia kan supply its army in the Donbass.

  10. How nieve.. Military strategy dictate it is easier to hold good positions in your own ground and wait for enmy walk into your range of fire.. Pro Ukraine report…

  11. A Harrassing Dynamic always is a Superior Add-On to a slowly Eroding and Mostly Static Line-Holding Stalemate. It introduces several Pincer Movement possibles for Later. Even Better, it makes the Orcs worry and double-think every Foreward Salient they contemplate. What was so Easy once, Can Hapoen Rwice.

  12. The "buffer zone" claim is meant to provoke Russia; both by parroting Putin's previous statements and by implying they mean to hold the territory. I believe the Ukrainians want to draw the Russians into a larger fight here, and not just as a diversion from the Donbass.
