Fucking hell that is a very busy area, even at 6am. Thousands of people walk that area to get to their offices. Can’t even walk to work anymore without this sort of thing it’s actually a joke. The city centre is unlivable.
That woman is probably going to be thinking about this for the rest of her life and this guy is let out back on the street. The guards even said don’t let him out.

im confused, so if he pays the €3000 surety, he is able to continue on with his life except under a curfew? when is he meant to gets sentenced?
I understand there’s precedent to grant bail to aomeone with no priors but this is a pretty violent crime. sounds like the gardai didnt think he’d get bail and didn’t make a good enough case for why he was a flight risk
