  1. I don’t know but your mom won’t like it if you play with them and your clothes get dirty.

  2. Looks like marja-aronia (Sorbaronia fallax). I think people make berry juice from them, they’re pretty bitter. But make sure that you’re 100% sure about the identification before eating any berries.

  3. You can make pretty good homemade wine with these (if they really are marja-aronia) with home wine kit and adding some raisins.

  4. The juice you can make from them is delicious when enough sugar is added.

  5. Not the tastiest one but super healthy, full of vitamins

  6. Aronia are edible, but taste like a mix of elderberry and lingonberry when raw. Cooked into Juice or Jam they are dilicious.

They do stain a lot worse than blueberries when ripe, ‘though, so handle with care.

  7. I have a lot of those and every fall I make a lot of juice for winter. It’s a bit bitter, but with sugar it tastes great.

  8. I have puked twice after drinking a glass of raw aronia juice (can’t say with 100 % certainty that those are aronias).

Every cloud has a silver lining, I got a day off as high level of hygiene was needed at work

  9. I’m a little bit concerned about everyone asking these questions here daily. Yes, berries and mushrooms are a big thing in Finland but please assume most are poisonous.

  10. If its aronia berry it will propably give you stomach ache if you eat those raw. And they don’t taste good. Based on personal experience as a kid, lol.
