Russia’s oil exports are the lifeline fueling its war in Ukraine. Current sanctions are too complex, allowing evasion and enabling continued aggression. A full economic boycott, targeting oil, is crucial to cut off Russia’s war funding and bring peace.

Sounds great, but short of going to war how do you force China, and India from buying Russian oil? Also how do you make Kazakhstan stop evading sanctions for Russia, or any of the other border nations that imports have exploded since the war? Sort of a full blow military blockade of Russia you don’t, and at that point we might as well start fighting. Which in my mind we already should be NATO was created for Russian aggression yet here we are, but that’s a different discussion.
It’s crazy how much power oil holds over global conflicts
HAHAHAHA
Even when they can find ways to sell it they are hemorrhaging money. Countries willing to buy from them know how desperate they are and will take huge discounts
Sanctions don’t impact the dark fleet. Unless we want to start interdicting ships using military force there are just too many holes.
