6. It makes me sad that I’ll never see him live in person. I really should have made the effort. His music along with Genisis was the sound track to my dad’s car when I was a kid! His music is still a daily listen for me 30 years later.

7. We saw him live before Covid when he was definitely not in good shape…physically. Artistically he ripped the roof off the place like he was 25. He just had to do most of it sitting. Still atop 5 concert for me.

8. Face Value still gets regular rotation in my studio. I’d love to hear what Phil’s been cooking these days.

9. I have young kids, but let me tell you- He did the soundtrack to the animated Tarzan I think in ‘99 his tracks absolutely rip!
