They absolutely would have continued in court with this case had the press not picked up on it.
I still doubt they’re gonna pay anything since they don’t own or operate that restaurant. It would be ridiculous if any lawsuit against a restaurant for its food could be brought against the landlord for the establishment. It doesn’t make any sense.
They are claiming that it was still a valid thing to do. They have learned nothing.

I feel like once upon a time something this insane would have gotten our government to do something but due to modern news cycles it’ll be forgotten in like a week
