  2. There are state elections in Saxony and Thuringia on September 1st.

    Her party BSW is currently polling at [around 15% in Saxony](https://www.wahlrecht.de/umfragen/landtage/sachsen.htm) and at [around 19% in Thuringia](https://www.wahlrecht.de/umfragen/landtage/thueringen.htm).

    In addition, the far-right AfD is polling at around 30% in both states.

    There is a substantial risk that it will not be possible to form a majority government without including either her party or the far-right AfD.

  5. I was hoping the article would go into detail about what makes her dangerous, but it’s pretty vague. Her Wikipedia article gives more context to the AfD comment (though it hardly implies a relationship between her and the party) but I saw nothing about her “antisemitic narratives”.

    Can anyone fill in the gaps?

It isn’t the same as being antisemitic, though Israel would love to equate the two to guilt politicians and countries into supporting their sometimes nefarious policies. “Support Israel…unless of course you support the Holocaust.” That’s lhow they’ve bilked the US for billions .     Got the title “Smartest and most committed Politician of Germany” from Putin. Remember, that ist the same putin who likes to kill smart and committed politicians/people who could become dangerous for him.
