Someone I grew up with absolutely swears his dad decked sting at a petrol station somewhere along a motorway in England. I can’t remember the details of it but he will swear on his life its true and any time he meets someone new, within an hour or so they will know about his dad decking sting at a petrol station.
Not really relevant to the story here but thought I would share anyway.
I listened to a fascinating program about why sting, Bob Dylan, David Bowie are selling their catelog. Essentially it said that due to pirating and streaming it’s not possible to make the kind of money from music these aging musicians are used to so to protect their extravagant lifestyles they sell their back catalogue…according to exec from company buying the music.
