Its so weird to me when people say this and what's weirder is the amount of likes like why are "psg fans" so desperate to have "stars" in order for them to like their club I suggest you support another club if that's what you want, and it's funny how they haven't learnt from the past when our team was filled with stars and we were constantly getting knocked out the ucl, the atmosphere was terrible and played our worst football. Not to mention the same people who are asking for stars are the ones who were whistling messi and neymar back then. Like you can't be this slow?. You don't need stars to win you just need a proper football team.

  1. Some fans are more casual and just care about big names. They don’t see the project being built and the profiles needed. They just want brand recognition

  2. When they say “stars” they mean top players in their prime or young prospects that will propel the club to new heights.

Messi was washed and Neymar was injury prone. They mean break out players like Nico Williams after winning the EURO cup.

Like how Man City signed Bernardo Silva after winning Ligue 1 and CL semis from Monaco and KDB from Wolfsburg after winning DFB Pokal.

Most of our signings in the last decade have been garbage. Either they’re washed, don’t fit the system, or are just terrible at football. So a club like Paris Saint Germain **biggest club in France** do need some semblance of star power or do you want use to look like fricking Lille or something?

  3. Yea , every top team needs stars

You just have to get the right stars , hakimi is an example

  4. “Who think they are stars” literally most of our players are so down to earth and friendly and play for the team

  5. When all we sign are stars, they complain that we’re just chasing big names.

When we try to hire young and develop, they complain that we have no stars…

Can never please these garbage fans

  6. Guys on twitter have shit takes like this. Oh yeah let’s sign stars and then complain we don;t make the quarters of the cl every season.

  7. I think most fans are at the point where we’re looking optimically that the stars can emerge from the group we have in time. We are finally seeing the club move in a positive direction that’s been needed for years.

That might be “boring” for neutrals who just are looking for drama from the club or people who only want to focus on superstars, but this is working for us.

  8. Lesser and lesser teams nowadays have ”stars”. Mbappe and Haaland are probably the biggest starts in terms of name and status and somewhat performance. Sure you got the De Bruynes, Bernardo Silva, Bellinghams, but they are the same as Iniest, Xavi, Pirlo, Messi, Ronaldo, Zlatan and so on.
Football is in an evolution and is changing completely and it’s going from pure entertainment and excitement to efficieny based strategies. Coaches want a performing and effective machine today, not individuals who think they can carry the game on their own. My prediction and hopes are that Mbappe, Ney, Messi leaving is the best thing that happened to us. I liked Messi, I liked Mbappe until he became another person and changed completely, I liked Neymar the first years but the last 2 years were horrible and embarrasing. So I’m okay with not having stars that like counting money more over trophies.
