  1. Pardon? I would understand that he was a guest, then yes, but illegally getting into property?

  2. Legal technicalities – giving idiots a case that they don’t deserve since 1804.

  3. > “the owner of a building is responsible for the damage caused by its ruin, when it occurs as a result of lack of maintenance or a defect in its construction.

I don’t see how the squatter can win this case? He didn’t get paralyzed due to lack of maintenance or some defect in the construction.

  4. “Squatter” usually implies that the person is living in the property. These kids broke into a pool. Dumb and illegal, yes, but the use of the term “squatter” here seems incorrect or straight up misleading.

  5. That’s a nice place.. even has a fence around the pool. Not even Larry David would get in trouble for that!

  6. This is like Larry David getting in trouble for not having a fence around his pool when a robber fell in.

  7. They will claim that house was bobytraped with a swiming pool

  8. he broke into the fucking property he shouldn’t be allowed to sue. what the hell is wrong with the world!?!? i don’t want to live on this planet anymore.

  9. “there should have been a warning posted that there wasn’t any water in the pool!!”

  10. Even if he wins, he will still remain paralyzed and I’m so glad about that.
