Global Warming of 1.6C Now Best Case Scenario, New Research Shows

   We are ALREADY at +1.56°C. That’s what the global temperature for the last 15 months averages out as.

   2024 hasn’t cooled down significantly and a La Nina won’t change that. The albedo has DIMMED and ENERGY is FLOODING the Climate System.

   In 2004 the Earth Energy Imbalance or EEI was about +0.2W per meter squared.

   In 2024 the EEI has been running at about +1.5W/m2.

   So who are the “scientists” saying ridiculously optimistic things that suggest limiting warming to +1.6°C is EVEN POSSIBLE?

   They are the Moderates and, while they still dominate the field, their Climate Paradigm is about to fail. A MAJORITY of Climate Scientists think there will be AT LEAST +3°C of warming. Hansen and the Alarmists are predicting between +6°C to +10°C.

2. We are at around that… literally this summer.

   I’d say we’d be LUCKY to keep it under 3.5* C. In the next 50 years (my lifetime).

   People arent stopping their consumption…US/China/EU/Russia are all consuming and extracting oil at a record rate.

3. We are going to blow through 2C relatively soon (ten years or less)… but at least we won’t have to pretend about 1.5C at that point.
