  1. I think it’s a double edged sword.

    On one hand you need to take into account that the likely majority of the people they deal with will feed into the stereotypes they may have depicting other ethnicities.

    So not combating it will only feed further into these issues.

    And if you do try combat this, you’ll likely just drive away any desire for people to become police officers due to the already dire job it is.

    It’s already socially acceptable to get abuse as an officer, let’s not forgot they are people, they already have their pay and pension fucked with, to which they can never protest. And wrap it all up with you are dealing with the cunts of this world, it’s not a nice job in the slightest and I don’t envy them.
